How to Choose an Enema Bag

Enema Bags are the most popular enema product that we sell. This is because they are easy to use and are available in a wide range of sizes and materials. There are a lot of different enema bags out there, so how are you supposed to decide which bag is right for you?

Disposable vs. Reusable

The first thing you need to determine is how many times you’re going to use your bag: just once or twice, or will you need a reliable enema bag that will last a long time? There are both reusable enema bags and disposable enema bags available, and EnemaSupply has both.

If you only need to use an enema once or twice, you’ll save a lot of money by getting a disposable enema bag. We sell two disposable enema bags which are very similar: both can hold up to 1500 mL of enema solution, and both come with a 60” tube, moisture-proof drape, and a packet of enema soap. You can find our disposable enema bag sets here and here.

If you want a reusable enema bag, the next thing to determine is which material is right for you.

Enema Bag Materials

There are two materials that enema bags are usually made out of: rubber and silicone. These materials are pretty similar, both are easy to clean and both are totally body-safe. Both can also be found at all different price levels, so anyone can afford either one.

Rubber is usually a little thicker than silicone, so it might be a little more durable. Some of our rubber enema bags include the Gallon Black Enema Bag, the 5 Quart Enema Bag, and the Water Bottle Cleansing Kit. If you have material sensitivity or sensitive skin, however, you will want to go with a silicone enema bag. It’s a totally inert material, so you don’t have to worry about it irritating your sensitive areas. Some of our silicone enema bags include the One Gallon Silicone Enema Bag and the Silicone Open Flow-Top Bag.

Enema Bag Size

Another important aspect to consider is how big you need your enema bag to be. Different enema solutions are effective at different dosages, and different people may want more or less liquid in their enema depending on their needs. While you can always refill your enema bag, it’s easier if you can fit all the liquid into the bag in one go. Consult your doctor or read the packaging of your desired enema solution to help you determine how big a bag you will need. Fortunately, carries bags of many different sizes. Whether you need a 2 quart bag2.5 quart bag, 4 quart bag, or even a 5 quart bag, you can find it here.

There are a lot of other things that set enema bags apart from one another, like the length of their hoses or the color of the bag, but those are the most important factors. We hope that this information will help you choose the right enema bag for you. One last word of advice: if you’re going to buy any accessories or nozzle add-ons for your enema bag, make sure that they fit with the size of enema hose your bucket came with. The size of the hose is included in the details on each item’s page.
